IXC International

IXC Australia and IXC UK are the founding members of the InnovationXchange, an international network of commercially neutral organisations formed to deliver the benefits of the IXC Intermediary Service to economies worldwide.

The IXC Intermediary Service pilot in June 2005 generated significant international interest. IXC Australia has been in discussion with organisations in Europe, Asia, Oceania and North and South America looking to bring the benefits of the IXC model to their businesses, universities and research institutions.

Internationally, the IXC business model is licensed to local organisations established along similar lines: independent, not-for-profit and commercially neutral. New IXCs receive assistance in recruiting local IXC Intermediaries, who are trained in the IXC Methodology and work to the same standards and ethics as IXC Intermediaries around the world. IXC staff also provide ongoing support and training. Linked in this way to IXCs internationally, all IXC Clients benefit from the shared knowledge of an expanding network of IXC Intermediaries around the world.

IXC UK, a partnership initiative of the University of Birmingham has been established under licence from IXC Australia and brings the IXC Intermediary service to the United Kingdom for the first time - for the benefit of British industry, universities and research institutes.
