He retired from Ai Group in February 2004 after 43 years of service, including 30 years as a Director and nearly eight years as Chief Executive. He has a special interest in industrial relations and has pursued and achieved training reform. He is committed to innovation and advocates industry policies which attract investment and growth.

Grant Kearney is the Founder and past Chief Executive of the Australian Industry InnovationXchange Network, now IXC Australia. With extensive experience in marketing and development, Grant Kearney combines a track record of success in private enterprise with a commitment to the not-for-profit sector. He has also served as Director of Marketing and Communication for The Cancer Council (NSW) and Director of Public Affairs and Development at the University of New South Wales. He has established several successful businesses and his work has been recognised with a number of professional awards.


Jane Owen: Company Secretary
Jane Owen is a Partner at Maddocks Lawyers in Sydney and has over a decade of experience in intellectual property law, specialising in intellectual property dispute resolution and commercialisation.  Jane has also worked extensively with IXC Australia in the development of the unique legal processes under which IXC Intermediaries work.

Dr Tim (MA) Besley
Tim Besley is Chair of the CRC for Greenhouse Gas Technologies and the Wheat Export Authority and a former Chair of the Australian Research Council, The CIG Group, Commonwealth Bank, Leighton Holdings Limited and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering.

Russell Kenery
Russell Kenery is the former MD and CEO of Atco Controls Pty Ltd, Australia's largest manufacturer of lighting control equipment. Russell is a Director of the Industry Capability Network and former President of AEEMA (Australian Electrical & Electronic Manufacturers' Association).
