Pharmafood Breakthrough Forum - 27 June 2008, Melbourne
Below is an overview of the Pharmafood Breakthrough Forum, convened by the InnovationXchange, on the 27th June 2008. The day was a great success with industry, research and regulatory bodies coming together to discuss the issues and opportunities surrounding the convergence of food and pharmaceuticals in an area we called 'Pharmafoods'.
The day allowed plenty of time for discussion around the presentations and the audience participation added to the relevance and interest of the event. Dr Richard Hames moderated the forum and provided a summary of the issues generated. These issues will be explored further at a series of dinners, hosted by the InnovationXchange.
