The InnovationXchange process for connected innovation is growing internationally. The IXC business model is licensed to local organisations and established along similar lines: independent, not-for-profit and commercially neutral. New IXC start ups are mentored and supported by others in the network. They receive guidance in recruitment, finance systems, business development and marketing. IXC Intermediaries are recruited locally and are linked to IXCs internationally. All IXC Clients benefit from the shared knowledge of an expanding network of IXC Intermediaries around the world.
IXC Australia Limited
is the originator of the InnovationXchange model and has been in operation since early 2006. The head office is based in Melbourne, Victoria, with IXC intermediaries serving clients across Australasia.
IXC UK Limited
was established as a partnership initiative of the University of Birmingham under licence from IXC Australia in 2006. IXC UK is now an independent organisation that delivers the IXC Intermediary service to the United Kingdom for the benefit of British industry, universities and research institutes.
IXC Malaysia Berhad
has been sponsored by the Malaysian Government and the University of Science Malaysia to bring the IXC Intermediary service to Malaysia. IXC Malaysia has recently hired four IXC Intermediaries and has commenced services for its clients.
